Technical avant-garde in series: the worldwide unique patented 6:1 linear axis drive system of the
PICONORM. Thanks to the flat belts that serve as suspension means, this patented elevator with a
robust worm gear motor does not require hydraulic oil or a counterweight upon a max. travel of 14m. In addition, it is almost maintenance-free.

The worldwide unique Piconorm drive system

The worldwide unique Piconorm drive system represents a revolution in the home lift industry. The market for home lifts is booming like never before - the need to create barrier-free access to apartments, doctor's surgeries and other office space is increasing, not least due to the steadily increasing age of the population . Flexibility and cost-efficiency are of the utmost importance, especially in renovation and retrofitting. Piconorm was developed

for precisely these purposes. The newly developed, patented Piconorm drive unit works via a worm gear motor that is coupled to a ball screw drive. The linear movement of the traveling nut sets a flat belt mechanism in motion with a transmission ratio of 6: 1. The flat belt ends attached to the support frame can move the cabin with a lifting height of 12 meters. The maximum load Q F is 930 kg at a travel speed of 0.15 m / sec. Due to its compact design, this system is primarily designed for home lifts. The simple handling and assembly of the kit is an enormous advantage here. Assembly times of just a few hours are the result. The drive unit is almost maintenance-free.
